We went to Bill’s Pizza in Palm Springs the other night for happy hour. A friend of ours told us about their happy hour all day on Monday’s and we were thinking of going.

We were walking along Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs during their weekly street fest and the owner was handing out small slices of their pizza. It was so good that it convinced us that we really had to go and why not on happy hour Monday’s?

Happy hour Monday’s means pizza at regular price and draft beer at 75 cents for a 16 oz glass of ice cold beer. Sitting outside on the patio sipping cold beer and eating great pizza is an experience you cannot beat. Add 75 cent beer and it is fantastic. This is for your first beer only, after that it is $2 which is still an excellent price.

Visit Bill’s Pizza Palm Springs

The place is not upscale. It is a pizza place, and frankly with a location on Indian Palm Canyon Drive, it is not in one of the best locations as far as pedestrian traffic is concerned. They have to work a little harder at advertising, but it is well worth the visit. This is a must visit for all pizza and beer lovers.

If you are trying to find Bill’s pizza, the address is 119 S. Indian Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA . They are across the street from Tylers restaurant.

Bills pizza serves pizza, salads and beer. They have many different pizza’s all named for various people or things and they are really good. We had a 10 inch Elton John, which was really great with olive oil, garlic and a number of other vegetables. A 10 inch pizza is $11, while a 18 inch pizza is $23.

We found that a 10 inch pizza was lots for two people, unless you want to take some home with you for breakfast the next morning. I happen to love cold pizza in the morning for breakfast.

Rest Rooms are Not Great

The only negative that we need to report is the washroom. If you have to go and you probably will with 75 cent beer, you need to ask the waiter to unlock the door to the hallway and then walk down this rather long hallway with several twists and turns to find the men’s or women’s washroom. Getting back actually takes you out onto the sidewalk and then you need to reenter the restaurant from the front. The washroom was actually clean, relatively speaking.

Aside from the rest rooms Bill’s pizza in Palm Springs is the place to go anytime for pizza and on Monday’s for happy hour. Take your pic, all of the pizza’s are great.
